Built side by side with Gibson guitars in the same facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan, using the same woods, construction methods, and much of the same hardware, the Epiphone Riviera is essentially an ES-335 but with different pickups, tailpiece, and headstock.
Because they were built alongside Gibsons by the exact same luthiers, Kalamazoo-era Rivieras have spiked drastically in valuation. They are notably famous for being the instrument of choice for players like Noel Gallagher (Oasis), Robben Ford, and Lou Reed
- Body Construction: Thinline double-cutaway semi-hollow body (16″ width) with a solid Maple center block. The top, back, and sides are built using premium layered Maple.
- Pickups: Outfitted with two Gibson patent mini-humbuckers. These produce a brighter, snappier, and sweeter clarity compared to standard PAF humbuckers.
- Neck & Fingerboard: One-piece set Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fingerboard featuring signature pearloid split-parallelogram inlays.
- Tailpiece: Traditionally features Epiphone’s unique Frequensator tailpiece (utilising unequal string lengths for balanced bass and treble tension) or a Tremotone vibrola tailpiece.

Delivery, Returns & Warranty
UK delivery only. Delivery is free on orders over £50, with a fixed £4.50 charge on orders below £50. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 1pm on the same working day wherever possible.
