2005 Fender American Deluxe Telecaster finished in Montego Black, with a bound select alder body, maple neck and maple fingerboard.
Made in the USA, this model features Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Telecaster pickups, S-1 switching, a six-saddle bridge with chromed brass saddles and Fender staggered locking tuners.
The original gold vinyl pickguard was replaced at some point in the past with a regular black 3 ply guard.

Description
This 2005 Fender American Deluxe Telecaster was made in the USA and is finished in Montego Black.
The select alder body has white binding and a contoured neck heel. It is paired with a maple neck and maple fingerboard, with a modern C profile, 9.5 inch radius and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The guitar is fitted with two Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Telecaster pickups, controlled by a 3 position blade selector, master volume and master no-load tone control. The S-1 switch provides additional pickup switching options while retaining the familiar Telecaster control layout.
Other features include a six-saddle American Telecaster bridge with chromed brass saddles and Fender staggered locking tuners.
The factory specification for the Montego Black model included a single-ply gold vinyl pickguard. This was changed at some point in the guitar’s past and it is now fitted with a regular black 3 ply pickguard.
The guitar is in good overall condition but has clearly been played. There are the usual scratches, marks and general play wear expected on a used instrument of this age, but nothing drastic.
