The 1967 Guild Starfire IV is a premier, American-made semi-hollowbody icon that stands as the ultimate golden-era alternative to the Gibson ES-335. Crafted in the historic Hoboken, New Jersey factory, this particular model year represents a highly desirable transitional milestone. In 1967, Guild updated the design by shifting the neck-to-body joint from the 16th fret to the 18th fret, granting guitarists vastly improved upper-fret access for solos and complex chord shapes. Known for its airy warmth, tight low-end, and incredible feedback resistance due to its solid center-block construction, this instrument seamlessly delivers everything from smoky jazz and woody blues to biting classic rock.

For its age, it is in remarkably good condition with only a few little scratches and some nice lacquer crackle. The action is low, and it plays very easily.
