Description
The Supro 1304 Fuzz Pedal is an analogue fuzz designed to combine classic fuzz character with considerably more tonal control than a conventional one-knob fuzz circuit.
At the front of the circuit is an NOS germanium transistor, followed by silicon-based gain stages. The result is a pedal capable of moving from responsive vintage-style fuzz through to thick, high-gain saturated sounds.
Rather than relying on a single tone control, the Supro 1304 provides separate Bass and Treble controls, allowing each frequency range to be cut or boosted independently. Alongside these are dedicated Volume and Gain controls, making it straightforward to balance output level, fuzz intensity and overall tonal character.
A particularly useful feature is the TRS expression pedal input, which provides foot control over the Treble parameter. The pedal’s Treble knob sets the maximum value, allowing the high-frequency content to be swept or reduced while playing.
Built around a simple four-control layout but offering a broad range of adjustment, the Supro 1304 is an interesting choice for players wanting classic germanium-flavoured fuzz response without being restricted to a traditional vintage-style control set.
