Description

Utilizing a pair of Guild’s classic humbucker pickups, most famously seen in the Starfire models, this X180 delivers a wide palette of clear, nuanced tones that few guitars can match. The tone is dynamic, complex, and rich, with great bloom in the low end and sweet treble response. The pickups are well balanced in terms of output, and each selection on the three-way toggle is distinct and pleasing. As you’d expect, the neck pickup is dark and smoky while retaining definition, while the bridge has more top-end content and snap, which highlights the full maple construction of the instrument.
