Description
This Gibson Les Paul Standard was made in the USA in 2002 and is finished in Vintage Burst.
The guitar follows the traditional Les Paul Standard construction, with a mahogany body, carved maple top and a set mahogany neck. The rosewood fingerboard has 22 frets, trapezoid position markers and a 24.75 inch scale length.
Two humbucking pickups are controlled by individual volume and tone controls, together with a conventional 3-way selector switch.
The hardware includes a Tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece and nickel-plated fittings.
The surviving sales record described the pickups only as PAF-style humbuckers. Their precise make and model were not recorded, so no more specific claim is made here.
The guitar weighed 4 kg and was supplied with a hardshell case.
